A core firm strength, our administrative practice includes representing both private sector clients and public bodies before local, state, and federal agencies. Two members of the firm are former Administrative Law Judges with the Division of Administrative Hearings, having started with the Division at its inception in 1975. They each participated in the shaping of both the procedural and substantive aspects of Florida administrative law.
Members of the firm have presided over and represented clients in numerous formal administrative adversarial proceedings, many complex and multi-party, including rulemaking and rule challenges, environmental permitting, water use permitting, growth management and land use matters, health care facility licensing, and professional licensing and disciplinary matters. In addition to participating in both informal and formal administrative proceedings, the firm has extensive experience in administrative appeals to the District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court.
